This mid-century vase was designed by Heinz Martin and manufactured by JOPEKO Keramiks.
These short vases carry many of the identifying features of mid century West German pottery including the distinctive pitted lava finish with which the era is synonymous.
The UFO shape is both collectible and rare. It also makes for a handle that is easier to use and ensures that the centre of gravity remains low enough to accommodate heavier flowers that slimmer vases of a similar height would not be able to house.
Width: 18cm; Depth: 18cm; Height: 15cm
